With self-driving cars on our roads and personal assistants by the name of Siri and Alexa in our pockets and homes, it can often feel like we are hurtling towards the future at breakneck speed. 

This data published by UCSF in JAMA Cardiology serves as a reminder that while there are many things machine learning and wearable tech can do effectively today, we are still far from the future of having a doctor in your pocket.
